I'm trying to find a new or nice condition longboard(s) in the Sacramento/SF bay area (I'm willing to ship). I've given up road biking so I'm willing to trade all my gear/bike.
If you want to offer cash, I'm looking for $2200 obo (for all parts, extra crankset, shifters, tires, etc..) .
I'm looking for at least a 9'6" (9'2"-10'6") board with a 2n1 setup (2 small fins, 1 large centerbox), A classic noserider or performance longboard. I'll also entertain a new wetsuit (large) or the Inno Board Locker. I have some stuff below for trade or if you prefer $$$, let me know, I'll try to get some together (I'm a working student). If it needs minor repair that does not bother me. I'll take two boards or 1 really nice board. I have or can get photos upon request.
I should further describe what I'm looking for. I want a board that I can take off the wall and ride. Not hang up and admire. I mean, a restored 1960's Dewey Weber, etc. Well made Balsas fit into both categories but since I only own 1 board, I don't want to rely on it as a step up or as a backup. I'm looking for say, a Robert August 'What I ride' or the like.
If you don't have an extra board or not much $$$, I'd also definitely consider trading it for an equal mountain bike in nice shape. I'm looking for a cross country rig with at least Shimano LX (or equivalent), Rockshox SID/Fox or equivalent. Full or Front Suspension.
To Trade: (I can describe everything in detail)
2001 DeRosa Vision road bike 54cm (new price $3600, over $1200 in upgrades since then)
2004 Campagnolo Veloce components
Nuke Proof Titanium wheelset laced to Araya CTL-370 rims (one of the lightest custom wheelsets made)
Modolo Morphos shifters
much more.
Helmet/jerseys/bike light/pedals/shoes
-Dukane Overhead Projector with an Infocus 525 Projection panel (640x480 resoultion with 16.7 million colors (watch movies on the cheap, you just need to pay $8 per bulb instead of $400 for a traditional projector) Includes everything to get your computer working as a DVD player or to play games on a big screen (really big). Just set your computer's resolution to 640x480 and you're set (it cuts off the image from DVD players so please just use a computer/laptop with this)
