EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY!

FOAM E-Z is looking for enthusiastic people with some knowledge of board building and/or a desire to learn.

Company Overview:
We are the Original One-Stop Surfboard Supply Shop, established in 1993! We sell and assist customers with surfboard building supplies and tools via wholesale (walk-in), retail (walk-in), and internet (shipping).

Desired Skills:
Ideally having the basic understanding of how to build a surfboard. Small scale operation requires a dynamic individual that can think on their own and rise to the occasion. Looking for detail oriented person. Daily duties are performing many of the operations of a small business such as shipping, receiving, computer entry, cash register, customer assistance via phone and in person. Computer skills are a big plus.

Working Environment:
The working environment is a mix between relaxed and intense. Daily duties are processing/shipping orders and vary day to day. The day is spent responding to the needs of a small business. Our clientele is fun to work with but certain times of the day can be hectic as everything tends to happen at once! Casual dress code (shorts and tee shirt)!

A Day In The Life At Foam E-Z:
A typical day starts with an assessment of the previous day/nights internet orders. Ordinarily the orders are packed and labeled prior to the doors opening at noon. From twelve to three o'clock we juggle answering phones, helping customers in person, and packing/labeling more orders as they come in. The shipping companies arrive between 3 and 4:30pm as the day begins to wind down. During this time we get caught up, clean up, and start new projects.

Hours Needed:
A new employee should expect to work anywhere from fifteen to twenty five hours a week based on their role and availability. Hours needed are typically between 9:30am- 4:00pm Monday thru Friday. Jobs Available, apply now!!!

Training:
New hires require a fair bit of training based on their past experience with board building. All employees will be trained to have a complete understanding of how the day to day tasks are done. The usual training period to get up to speed is approximately one month.
