The centre single fin is a Mctavish - but I've glassed it into the fin box. You might be able to remove it. The fin screw is remvoable. 6 fin options if you can remove the centre single fin : Ride it as a Quinfin, Quad, Thruster style tri fin, reverse tri fin, twin fin or sigle fin. I've had 6 sessions on this board.
As a Quinfin it'll be stiff but MAY work ok in overhead surf. The half moon tail has a very significant and noticeable effect on how this board handles depending on your fin set up choice and where your stance is on the board.
If you're wanting to fly and or do 360s, airs etc, then I'd say that this board may not be suited, but with a bit of getting used to who knows. On my last session I found that the forward speed is good through fast sections and i started to feel that turrning and guiding the board from ab it further forward started to work. It took a late drop beautifully and felt very reassuring. But when I tried a drop knee cutback as I came out of a section the board immediately flipped out from the back.
Its glassed with a sealed blank and 6/2oz deck and bottom.
