Dear Swaylock's brothers(and sisters if applicable)
I wish to issue a public apology to all who may have wasted their time following, or even briefly viewing the "Avant Garde" thread.
I should have never engaged in the banter between myself and the author of that thread.
I attempted to be nice and have a decent discussion, regardless of the many warnings that doing so would be frustrating and futile.
I allowed myself to briefly get sucked into the drama, and departed from my ususal light hearted self.
I would also like to say a heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all of those who sent me PM's trying to warn me off and steer me away from continuing futher.
I am truly humbled by all of the concern I was shown.
Please feel free to send me reminders should I ever begin to take myself too seriously.
From here on out it is my intention to do as the many WISE members of this forum do....and just ignore the post from this individual...no matter what name he uses.

do five hail waves and ten our surfboards and all will be forgiven.
Ha ha.
The killers in high places say their prayers out loud
DONE!
I feel so much better now!
Thanks solo
Todd: I have found that if we all make an effort to just focus on board building (Tools, Methods, Materials, Designs) and keep away from politics or trival strive we will all enjoy this site a lot more! I got caught up in a couple of treads in the past that I should have never jumped in so don't fell bad about your bif. You wear your heart on your sleeves. Relax and enjoy life while were here.
By the way I have that Strat all tuned up and the surf sound is unreal. My friend dropped off a large ROLAND amp. Sounds so good!
Awesome SD! Glad it is going to good use!
Talk to you soon
Mahalo
Hey Todd,
I was going to pm you and ask a question. But, it looked like you were having a bit of fun and I was enjoying your wit so I didn't. My question is this. If there is no honor it, why participate? I think you know what I mean. Surfding's advice is good for all of us who have stepped away from the board building stuff and regretted it. Mike
You are absolutely right Mike...and "normally" I don't participate in that kind of thing.
Truth is...after being met with the responses I was met with...I did start having fun...then it just got sad and I felt bad becuase it really did just feel like I was picking on a handicapped person. Totally unfair and without honor.
I hope I have not caused anyone to think less of me for that little jaunt.(shut up Ken)
Call it a moment of temporary insanity due to lack of hydro-psyche infusion aka psychic dehydration.(not surfed in a while)
Mike, feel free to PM anytime. Ask the questions. Hopefully there won't be a "next time", but if so, the question might just be what I need to snap me out of it.
Well...gotta go...got some hot coatin' to do.
