unsealed agave.
gotta get the
right variety.
so you don't need wax.
...ambrose...
leave tha skin on the agave any thig else is un natural.shape the shoot with 2x12s wired to the stalk, while growing, anything else is like riding a circumcised stick.
Dang Ambrose, you'd have to have mighty thick skin to ride an unskinned, unsealed agave... since stalk has gnarly points on it everywhere... you'd have to call them razorboards or something. Not to mention the nasty rash and itch you can get from the sap and dust...
PS lots of them grow with natural rocker anyway, no need for all that wiring stuff.
Aloha !!
growing bamboo in forms is a japanese art form/lumber-forestry tecnique

Making square bambooTo create the form for making square bamboo, measure the circumference of the shoot as close to the ground as possible. Divide this measurement by 4 and use this as the inside dimension of each side of the square form,
Atomic BombIn Hiroshima, Japan the only plant to survive the radiation of the1945 atomic bomb was a bamboo. The incinerating heat destroyed trees and other plant life. Everything except one bamboo grove was destroyed. The grove has since been removed, but culms from the grove are preserved in a museum in Hiroshima. ...a...bomb proof surfboard

yeah, and they grow square watermelons too. Now.. if you could get balsa wood to grow in rail-shapes, the hollow wood board guys might be very appreciative...
Let's talk about a red herring... What is the deal with 'em anyway? People are often talking about them when they have nothing to do with what was being talked about... What's up with that?
All the herring I've ever eaten was of the silver/grey varitiety, so maybe there's something super tasty about the red herrings...

The use of herring to throw off pursuing scent hounds was tested on Episode 148 of the series MythBusters.[15] Although the hound used in the test stopped to eat the fish and lost the fugitive's scent for a while, he eventually backtracked and located his target, resulting in the myth being classified as "Busted".[16]
