If you go to DOW, you'll need an order of $50,000.00 to start! If anyone is interested in the foam, I can be reached at either 714-404-1663 or 714-379-5533 http://www.hdxsurfboards.com
you know , i didnt know it was called XPS.i understand what your saying though. if you could email me some info on the EPS id be stoked. thanks again. do you know if they make XPS in longer lengths than 12'?
Don't waste your time with owens corning...........the stuff has chems that promote delam problems...Just ask Javier at Epoxy Pro. I heard that he might scrap his styro boards because of the dealm problem---too many customer returns etc. I think there needs to be a better attemp made at finding a better foam to work with other that Clark and all EPS version currently out there.
Patrick, we buy our EPS foam in 16' lenghts, but it can be made to order(length). I haven't gotten any XPS over 12' in length. HDX has worked very hard perfecting the epoxy surfboards that they manufacture. Trial and error. Over the YEARS of trial and error, HDX has worked out many of the difficulties encountered with epoxy and the various types of foam. AND out XPS foam is different than the XTR foam of epoxy pro. http://www.hdxsurfboards.com
Greg as I said in my post I had trouble with my L 5 disc in my back for weeks .It was causing me to wake up in the morning with pins and needles in my arms and down to mt knees.I had been to a physiotherapist for treatment for about 1 month still did not fix it .My wife suggested I went to her natural healer or therapist as he was good on backs .He is a iridoligist who looks into your eyes .He told me there and then it was my L5 piched nerve,he stood me on a box got some tools out of his box of tricks and proceded to rub them up and down my spine for about 3 4 minutes and he fixed it immediatly Ive havent had aproblem since $25 great value. But I still do the exercise I mentioned before.oh yea Bill Clinton went to see him here in Western Australia while he was on a speaking tour.Hope it help.Find a naturapath who specialises in back manipulation
Jeff, I had the surgery about 4 years ago, Same L4-5 disectomy and fusion with rods and screws. My only regret is not getting it done sooner, I suffered for at least 5 years needlessly. Today I am mobile but cautious and enjoy the water as much as possible. I would not be totally honest if I said it didn't slow me down, but life is so much better. I think excersize is the key to rehab, specfic excersize for your back that is. http://www.indygoofyfoot.com/images/bernies-fin.jpg
