'cept for the pointy bat tail thingy being really close to parts of the rider's body where sharp pointy things shouldn't point...

Very nice glassing, as usual. Shape looks quite good for me (ex custom bodyboard builder), but believe me: fins are not necessary if rail edges are squared enough. My first bodyboard was a PU/PE also, made by me. It was fast lke hell, but riding PU/PE on my chest is a pain in the...chest. I still have it at home. Do you want a pic??

pointy bit in the middle of the bat-tail. Might be a bit uncomfy for a prone rider :D Apart from that, looks like a great board! Ik have one in the same style (the Body Reptile in the resources) and it FLIES!

That pointy tail is a real tummy puncher for the prone/drop knee riders. Some serious softening and rounding of those pointy edges will not affect performance, at least on the center point. On my fish paipo I swapped out the included fins for some Pro Tec Power Flex Fins(not shown here) http://www.rodndtube.com/paipo/Paipo-05ElChillito.shtml These fins work very nicely AND do not impale.
