I am moving this up from the depths of the "sin bin" that MAY interest the "general" folk... After all this is the best Surfboard design forum. Just saying’ here That, from the ancients to my day, there was no such thing as the “web”. As always, to be a successful “local” shaper, you needed to travel and patrol to have an edge. With me? Always observant and somewhat of a thief. An applicable recollection, is the first down rail I handled. Took the board over to Liddle, he made a few and we worked on it. And made a coupl’a more. Finished product performed quiet well. And I was fortunate enough to catch an epic swell at a secret spot, only know as “Bali Hai”. Frankly I find it quite funny that the same story could be told by a real “old-timer” about his Hot Curl I put forth a collection of “Vintage” Twin fin photos from 1948 to 1977. What a strange trip, hope you enjoy... One more thing How long have we been living in a truster world? About 37 years by my clock.
