My 6 year old decided to stand on his bodyboard the other day. No encouragement or pushing from me, I'm just going to let him do it if he wants. He's now asking for a board of his own. Oy!

My youngest who is pictured in this thread started out standing up on a boogie board at about 4 years old. He actually got pretty damned good at riding standup on it. He could hold an edge and cruise down the line.
They grow and progress so fast. A few shots from this past week. Not to shabby for a 12 year old.
His sister is out there every day there are waves.

Figured out how to animate and post a sequence of pictures. Only 12 years old but laying down man-turns.
If you watch close you can see he's distracted by the guy in the impact zone that is going to be in his line if he continues. The guy was closer that the picture makes it appear.
