Made this board after seeing the 1937 Popular Mechanics article on the Tom Blake design. Had a lot of fun making it. Hollow construction, built from Paulownia and red cedar then glassed with a single layer of 4oz eglass and Resin Research epoxy. Ive moved over to SuperSap Entropy Resin now for environmental reasons but I was very happy with the finish on a big board. Apologies that the pics are all 90 degrees out but they seem to fit better. I suppose that's what h appens with 23' boards. If you want to see more of my boards then head over to dailybreadsurfboards.co.uk
