Here i use a 9oz industrial biaxial stitch glass. It's cheap because it's a standard for small boat building. So i lamiante it on foam with less resin (tinted) possible then i cheater coat it with a white epoxy foam resin then i sand and laminate clear over. 2x4oz under, 1.9eps foam (i buy blocs), omega composite stringer on top and sealed with a flexible lightweight epoxy past. PE finish. Board weight 2.5kg.
It's my standard shortboard, that can be what i ride but i use only my 5'9 twinfins know. This one is the everyday board for a friend, good level.
6-8 x 20.5 egg, wide point back. Epoxy over PU with hemp deck and fin patches. Shown with a 7.5" fin I made out of G-10 (for the spine) and aircraft ply. This will be a 2+1, so I still have to build the sidebites, but when I do I'll be routing them into the blank. You can't see them under the tail patch but I installed HD PU inserts into the blank for the sidebites before I shaped the blank, and I used the hemp to cover them up. So the rout-in install completely skips the fillets at the base.
Love those little Nippon planes and 10'2"s

Been playing with linen and hand tie dyed deck inlays lately...
As you know, I took my hemp inspiration from you. Now you're doing prints, so that's a couple steps beyond.
wow. I need to get busy and do something. Ya'll have raised the bar significantly. All ya'll.
all the best
Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught. - Winston Churchill
out of foam. so this was recycled from a board I made years ago, that sucked. good riddance :)
tail looks boxy in the pic, but its not. also theres a weird shadow around the leash plug. makes it look like its sunk. not the case.
