Found this clip of bruce jones in the shaping bay walking thru a board build. Lots of great info.
One of the best Shapers ever. Had a. Rounded pin with V that I got off of one of the Seal Beach crew. Beautiful Russel Brotherhood shaped by Bruce. Had a raspberry sherbet bottom and cutlap. Perfected my backside on that board. Was kind of outta sync with all of those clear swallow tails that JG was doing in Pismo.
I will never forget walking into the BoardRoom Show(I think it was Ventura) and seeing him bouncing up and down on a longboard that was suspended at the nose and tail. The board was flexing like crazy, but no snap. Surely somebody has a pic of that one.
