Lesson learned, check and double check and don’t rush it. I have a quad set up that I glassed using FCSII finbox. Long story short 2 of them are backwards. Any suggestions on best way to fix this.
Use an Exacto knife to cut around the outline of the box to the depth of the box. Then put a fin in the box and start gently wiggiling the box back and forth like you were try to pull a tooth. Key word = “gently”. It can be done. Don’t ask.
Thanks. I can’t believe I did that. I was so meticulous about my finbox placements and measurements then I glassed bottom and deck and as I was sanding the lap on the bottom and sanded off the tape over the opening I noticed 2 of them looked odd.
I once installed a Future box backwards. I modified the fin to fit. The surfer never noticed it.
That won’t work with an FCS-II box, though.
