epoxy storage

How hot and how cold can I store my epoxy?

While i’m at it, what are the temperature limits to working with it catalyzed as well.

I never let mine drop below 55 F.   Rarely drops below 58 F.

I have epoxy I still use that is 4 years old now.

The ideal storage temp for epoxy is around 70° F. Cold affects more than heat.  If you live some place that gets extremely cold, keep it in an old cooler. I know some old boat builder types that when the weather gets cold they store it in a closed cooler with lit low watt incandescent light bulb. Provides just enough warmth to keep the epoxy fluid.

That’s a good idea.  We’ve got an old house next door to the one we live in.  Unfinished and needs a remodel.  I buy a drum every so often and poor off fives of Poly.  I put them in a room we don’t use and put a heater in there for the winter.  Winters can be cold on the Coast of Oregon.
