Hey gang, wondering if anyone remembers an old late 90’s/early 2k shaper that was making an early mod fish design that was kinda similar to the Lost RNF design, except the nose was cutoff a lot more abruptly? Almost like a shovel nose.
I only have an old low resolution photo of it. It wasn’t too long after the Lost 5’5" x 19 1/4" surf flick… when the fish designs were just starting to make a comeback. It was probably an east coast shaper and the logo was similar to a cross design… I think it had an acronym similar to MCD inside the cross, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t from More Core Division.
For context the other boards to the right of it were a Spectrum 6’6” step-up and 6’4” Rainbow Epoxy Hybrid. I think the mod fish was probably around a 5’8” twinie. It seemed really revolutionary for it’s time, so it was ironic that it was basically a retro design… gotta love the 90’s.
