Nose / tail tip thickness

Hello, Haven’t been on here in awhile but would like to get some feedback on my question below, thanks in advance, Matt!

For the very tip of the nose and tail, what thickness are you going to? I know the number isn’t as important as a smooth flow, but there’s gotta be others out there that need a number to foil to. Im talkng more about thicker fun shapes, mini-mal’s and longboards.

When Im foiling and working the thickness, Ive been shooting for about 1/2" at the tips. Then when doing the rails, i blend the the tips into the rest of the rails.

Thanks

You can shape it out just about any thickness you prefer at the tip.  BUT;  Just remember that through the fin area you will need one inch plus for a longboard box.   You can thin the tip from the back of the box to the tip as much as it can stand.
