My first glassing and one problem

I laminated my first surfboard. It turned out quite well but there was a 3 cm bubble left on the deck, do you recommend removing it?

I await your recommendations.

Thanks

With a razor blade; scab it off.  Then patch it with a round patch just bigger than the cut out.  If done carefully, you’ll never notice it.  Especially after you hotcoat, sand, gloss and wax it up.  It’s a dry spot.  Looking at your deck, I think you would benefit from a “cheater” coat.   When you laminate and after you have laid everything thing off, tucked the rails etc. pour a little more lam resin and catalyze.  Go back over it a second time before it sets.  Doesn’t take much resin to do this.  Half or less of what you used to lam.  This cheater coat just insures that you didn’t miss anything and didn’t pull too much resin off when you lammed.  Pulling too much resin off and leaving dry spots is common if you are a novice or don’t glass very often.  It’s all about “spreading” resin not pulling it off.

Thanks for the tips!!
