SurfScience.com @ Sacred Craft

The team from SurfScience.com will be at Sacred Craft Surfboard Expo in Del Mar in a few weeks.

To give some background of our mission, our main focus is the surfboard directory located here.

To supplement it and help beginners, we wanted to have some basic articles about shape to help explain how the different features of a board interact with the surfer/wave.  We would like to improve upon these articles.  There is a great thread suggesting we do so, but unfortunately it is a little hard to follow who is being addressed in most of the posts on that thread.

If you see the benefit in a site like this to help explain the basics to those who don’t shape.  Perhaps because you’re tired of kids suggesting board ideas that don’t work, we would be stoked to meet with you and talk board design.  Perhaps we can buy you a drink afterwards or at least get your boards up in our surfboard directory.

If you would like to meet, let us know. If not, thats fine, no need to reply.

Thanks to all of the shapers that sat down to talk to us.  We’re really stoked you see our vision and that you’re willing to help make sure there is good info out there for the average surfer.  See you all in Huntington next spring!
