PROGRAM FOR CNC

Good morning gentlemen

I'm riding a cnc high precision and would like to know what the main advantages and the 3D shape and surfcad?

Regards

Clovis TATO

Never tried Surfcad. Shape3D (lite for me) is the most complete out of the three that I use and by far the best for spotting “funny bits” in my opinion. The other two I use being Aku Shaper and BoardCAD. I start all my files in Aku as I prefer the 3D in that program to BoardCAD and funnily enough S3D lite. I then move into BoardCAD for checking slices and then S3D for the final once over.

Complete Shape 3D for the professional board builder is amazing!

I have two complaints about S3D lite.

  1. Beziers are not rendered anywhere near as smoothly on screen as BoardCAD.

  2. No 3D in the lite version.

buy the real thing  duh’’

Try contacting meanshapes he made a program he calls PSD. It runs any 3 axis machine. I coded some of the software for him. He has used most of the available software and finds itmore efficient. I have added 3d for XP but need to tweak it to run on windows 7. The cuts come out great on his machines.
