RESIN RESEARCH HAS A BATCH OF BAD RESIN GOING AROUND THE LATEST SOLD OUT OF GRAPHITE MASTERS. BOTH PARTIES SO FAR ARE UNWILLING TO STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. IF YOU HAVE RECENTLY HAD AN EPOXY LAMINATED BOARD TURN COLORS LIKE A MOOD RING POST YOUR INFO HERE.
Hey Buster. This is I believe in reference to one shop which had about a dozen boards turn pink. Have never seen this happen in my 30 years of working with epoxies. Some yellowing over the years but not PINK!! I visited this shop and have seen these boards personally and have offered the shop compensation even though there is no proof that our material is to blame just to help the guys out. Making surfboards for a living is tough. I know.
Fact is it is doubtful that this is RR material to blame since we mix in very large batching and this is the only shop which has experienced this and on just a few boards. No other complaints have come forward of this nature ... AT ALL ... from anyone else. Our distributor has not seen one other board from any other manufacturer turn pink.
We stand behind our product ... ALWAYS. We also stand behind the surfboard industry and always have. We're part of it and I have been for over 40 years .... will continue to.
Regarding my previous post. Please accept my retraction for any potentially harmful remarks.
I am available directly to further address any problems RESIN RESEARCH, AERIALITE, SILMAR or other of the fine products we represent.

I would like to appologize for my postings. I only meant to inquire if there were any other issues with a product and was not expecting the heat that I received. At a week moment I let my finacial loss and ego allow me to jab back and act in an unbecoming way. I am embarrassed that I have brought negative interest towards the industry I love the most not to mention the attention I have brought to my friend and shaper. Someone mentioned BP even makes mistakes well right now I feel lower than that. I have reread the posts and the positive efforts by some and highly respect your knowledge and the efforts of these companies to provide a quality product.
I think it takes of a fair bit of man to admit mistakes and apologize publicly. Good for you. I hope your business will fully recover and you will have success with Greg's product or whichever product you choose. Welcome back to the family.
