I've been building hollow wood surfboards, and recently I've been working on blending wood and foam (not compsand). I rebuilt a broken longboard using wood, and would like to try several more, to iron out the kinks in the process. I'm looking for contemporary surfboards over 7', in otherwise good shape, broken in two. Preferrably between santa monica and san simeon, for pragmatic reasons. I will pay you a reasonable sum for the board, let me know what you want for it. You can pm me, or email me at [email protected] Thanks, Huck
Don't everyone reply all at once LOL!!!
Aw shucks, just wait'll a big swell comes thu, then I'll get some bites!
I'm in San Marcos...near Carlsbad....
I'm looking for any broken or totally trashed surfboard that you do not want....I can not give you any money for your wasted board.........I can recycle your board...maybe.....I've done at least three threads on how to breathe new life into an old board....buckeled / broken / wasted.......we can rebuild.......... :)

Hey Ray! This forum does't get much traffic, but if anyone comes here with a broken board, we got 'em covered! My particular interest is in using wood to rebuild broken foam boards, but any way you rebuild is a good use of what would otherwise become landfill fodder! Glad to see others are interested in salvaging busted boards.
Just a bump to remind anyone who has one, I still enjoy the challenge of rebuilding broken boards! Will take broken fins too.
