I'm interested in selling this
Hansen Cardiff 9'10". Been in a shed for about 40 years with a couple
of fixed nicks. Local shop offering $200 for trade in (RI), Cali
offering $700. Any help on true value, or interest? I have a couple on
the east coast putting in offers also.
What is the board number? Look on the deck in front of the glass tailblock. The number and any letters or symbols, will identify the shaper, and the year.

Most likely a 1966 board. For a short time a fellow named Jimmy Magrew (sp?) shaped at Hansen. I believe he shaped your board. The letter after the number was typically the first letter of the shapers last name.
Thanks a lot! Right now a friend of mine locally offered $300 for it if I cant sell it online for better. I figured even if I get $5-600 for it, with shipping costs taken off and all the hassle I'd rather just sell it to my buddy for a quick and easy $300...unless we're talking upwards of 700 or more than it'd be worth it.
