Due to popular demand, the Surfing Heritage Foundation will
now be open on Saturdays from 10am-4pm. To kick things off, we’ll be hosting
the Longboard Collector Club for their annual meeting held here at our San
Clemente facility, from dawn until noon. This event is open to the public. The
Longboard Collector Club is an organization comprised of serious collectors,
looking to buy, sell or trade vintage boards, books, and other items related to
the surfing lifestyle. The program is free and open to the public. If you have
any surfing related collectables you are welcome to join in. The event will
also feature renowned author, Matt Warshaw, who will be signing his latest
book, “The History of Surfing” from 10 a.m. till noon. For this event, we are
bringing down a collection of vintage Hawaiian shirts from our South Coast
Plaza store. They will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve
