hi guys,
my board's lamination isn't going to happen unless i have 19 feet x 2' wide x 4oz. good-quality fiberglass cloth to show the epoxy resin supplier/laminator. he says available local fiberglass stock (made in china) tends to turn opaque very quickly and is strongly against it, saying it has to be made in US (if not oz or nz) or else i'm not going to have a clear, glossy finish.
anyone in australia know any source within sydney (in or near central business district & pyrmont) that sells quality stuff at reasonable cost?
would appreciate full specs, pricing, brand & contact details pronto, thanks
cheers,
Give Dions or FGI a call they both stock 4oz cloth and both are in brookvale Shapers can also help and will courier it to you - cheers

I've had poor experience with the FGI stuff. If you can pick a hole, put your fingers through it and tear easily, you know it's low grade stuff.
Colan do a good local cloth. http://www.colan.com.au/
howdy craig & red, thanks for the heads up.
a friend of mine in sydney will send it to me here in manila via courier. i figured i'll get it faster that way instead of ordering it through my brother in SFO. it might turn out cheaper overall
cheers,
hey red boards
im down the mornington peninsula and Im interested to know more about the link you had for Colan cloth.
Been using FGI but as you mentioned I thought it might be worth cheking out the Colan gear?
Which one of colan cloths do you use?
