surf Report In G-land October 10th 2011

Early morning doing it once again.  Seeing the pattern yet???  Clean
mornings…variable winds from about 9 until 3…light offshore coming alive
for an hour or 2…clean sunset session.   Today broke the trend, but you
wouldn’t have thought this when you saw it at dawn.  Ultra clean again
on the first check, which was early since it was transport day.
Watching it line up well enough through Money’s and probably feeling the
most enticed by the look of at that i would have gone for the first
morning session since the start of september.  But i waited to welcome
the new guests and didn’t worry about not surfing since i could work on
some boards when the onshore came up.  But it did not!!!

The trend had broken and it was not even past 10 o’clock before the
offshore came alive.  And it stayed with us for most of the day minus a
minor window of time that it blew outta the S.  8-10 foot Money Trees
working until the tide dropped enough to see the reef, drawing all the
energy up into the Ledge, Fan Palms, and Kongs.  And that’s where
it stayed until the tide started to flow again and start covering the
reef.  By sunset…and tonight we had a beautiful sunset…Money’s was
coming back on and even some Inside Pad sets starting to rub the reef
down there.

Maybe tomorrow morning will be on!!!
