Here in San Diego County we once produced between 300,000 and 500,000 surfboards per year. San Diego was once the world leader in surfboard production. Today things have changed. There is just a reminant of our once thriving surfboard industry.
The good news is there are some of us who refuse to roll over and play dead. Here at King’s we still hand shape and glass every board we make. We do it in our 8,000 square foot factory. King’s invites both individuals and groups to visit us. Come take a tour. We will show you how everything gets done. And, we will gladly answer any and all board building questions you may have.
