Wanted to see if anyone had a quicker method of measuring deck rocker. I am concerned that some of my last blank order was glued up wrong even though I provided the deck rockers. I have a 8' rocker stick for checking shorter boards and I saw Bruce's tongue depressor tape job. I have a 10' aluminum bottom rocker stick that might be modify-able... Also, how do you guys transfer the measurements to templates? I have a method but wanted to check out some alternatives. Thanks!
Surfteach, I build and sell adjustable rocker measuring tools. You can find them on this website under tools, in the surfshop. I’ve sold quite a few of these to my shaper buddies. An invaluable tool. You can adjust to fit and make a reuseable template. This is the easiest way to make templates. Here’s some pics. Let me know if interested.
