I've just registered and this is my first post so feel free to school me on Swaylock ediquete...
I had been living in Santa Cruz for some years and was so spoiled with great surf and great friends in the water.
I came to LA with my girlfriend about two weeks ago with the bare minimum possessions so we could bring only necessities. She's doing some work down here and I'm working distance. Meanwhile, I'm having withdrawals from my happy days in Pleasure Point Santa Cruz and I don't want to have to go buy or rent a soft top to get out in the water and most importantly I can't spend the money.
I don't even have a wetsuit here, so if anybody knows anybody in the neighborhood who can share the love - maybe even lend some gear - I'd be so grateful and you'd get REAL karma.
I'm planning on taking a trip back up to SC in a few weeks and plan on bringing at least my 7'6 Arrow down and 9/4 Ashley Lloyd, which I would be happy to let you ride as well!
Happy to go where you are and would love to have some surf friends down here.
