Chun's reef 10/12-19

heya,

we are visiting the North Shore and staying at Chun's Reef the week of Oct. 12-19. The house we are staying at has boards, but…if I need to is there a recommended place to rent a board? It looks as if they have a few softtop longboards and 3 boards in the range of 6' something to 8' something. All with a nice water stain patina :wink:

And if any Swaylockians want to surf and visit that week please let me know. Not renting a car. Renting bikes and plunking down in the sand.

Liam Mcnamara has a great little shop at Shark's Cove right next to Foodland about a 5 minute drive from where you'll be staying. He has a great selection of boards to rent as well as good used boards to buy if you want to go that route and then sell when you leave. Otherwise you could always drive into Haleiwa and rent a board from any of the shops there. Sounds like it's going to be a great trip.
