Starting a thread in capital letters against another individual is pretty "pussy" if you ask me. But I am sure none of you would ask. So I guess after ten years on this site my opinion is irrelevant, Bill if you can't add more than Greg maybe you should be quiet. You guys sound like a bunch of whiney girls at a pajama party. Can't take it?? You can always ignore or decline comment. " Discrestion is the better part of valor". Lowel

Why is anyone letting anything that goes on here get to them? None of this matters in the big picture. And the "Loose Cannon" is a great board model by my friend Cole Simler in San Clemente; Cole really has a keen eye for detail, and demands it in all his boards; trust me on this I know firsthand; he even has different rail templates that have to match perfectly.
I see my name came up on this thread. Yah. I've met Shapa. Shook his hand. Talked on the phone. PM's. He's been to my house to work on his fish. I've been to his house to deliver lumber for racks. I've met both his brother and his mother. I like him. From what I can tell he's a decent human being. He's stoked on surfing and building surfboards. Gotta love that. So am I. He's not a kid. He's about my age. Some of you noticed an incongruity with the maturity of some of his post and his age and his lack of excperience and pointed that out. I guess Shapa didn't like it and came out throwing 'haymakers.' Some of you fired back. Normally I wouldn't give a shit. But, I like him. So I PM'd a couple of you on his behalf. You responded in a positive way and I thank you. PM'd a couple of moderators too. Something I never done before and I've been here a long time now. Seemed like the right thing to do at the time. My advice to Shapa is the same I give to all. If you don't like a poster or what they post put them on ingore and don't read it or respond. It's about sharing the stoke and having fun. Or, grandma's advice, "If you can't say anything nice about someone, don't say anything at all."
One of the things I've noticed is Sways is not a fuck'n democracy where members get to vote another guy off. Good thing, too. The site is owned by Mike Paler and thanklessly moderated by a couple of individuals. I have no idea how they make decisions regarding any of the members.
Your a good kid, Angus. Mike
Good input Rooster. I thought troll but will accept your word.
Funny how some members can dish out hate and unwarranted personal attacks in voluminous threads without repercussions or censure. It seems they can dish it much better than they can take it.

This thread is of the type that perpetuates this kind of stuff. People complain about stuff and then turn around and start it.
Roy----------- I was around when Roy was here on Sways. But, I never followed the whole drama very closely as it meant little to me. I remember jabbin' Roy once or twice, but I could have cared less. I lost interest in reading anything he wrote and skipped over any threads that I saw he had posted on. I don't know what was the final straw that resulted in his banishment. Not only did I not care nor was bothered by his being on Sways, but his absence didn't affect me either. In fact; You could bring him back and make him a member in good standing here on Sways and I could give a $#!t. I don't have to read him. There are guys here on Sways that I don't read or respond to today. Generally if you've read 'em once, you've read them for all time. They always take a certain course or direction in what they write. Usually propaganda that advertises what they do, their revolutionary method or process. Sometimes just a bent toward advertising their own boards. I don't have to read it or participate in it. And neither do you. Lowel
Yes thanks Mike. Glad this turned around.
shapaholic, whatever advice Mike gave you, take it. You are in good hands. Hope you build another board and post it here. Maybe give it a little while, though. And don't go changing your screen name.
all the best
