I'd rather see a seperate boating section for the SUK posts.
There's nothing wrong with physics, those kind of discussions are one of the things that make this place (or used to make this place) a little more educated than your average website.
'a forum for the over ANALysers , and mass debaters ' .... [ let them argue , pound their chests , and wank on to their heart's and big egos content , without polluting THIS forum .... ]
And then that will leave the general discussion free of such egotistical dross , so people can post their photos , share their boards , and fins .... and share their STOKE !
surfboard design forums are good , when there are photos and details of surfboard designs and dimensions and materials
Questions & answers, thoughts & theories on all aspects of surfcraft including practical & theoretical design, tools & materials, construction tips & techniques, and surfcraft history.

What 2 or 3 science and engineering threads a month is intrusive? We need homogenized pictographs only? Really? I will stop here before I...
Some of the best old threads here (Barnfield. et. al.) are math/science oriented and technical.
Well, ok, but then how about a separate section for complainers? Lets be fair, they deserve their own place too! They could talk about what's wrong with swaylocks, and then this forum could be for those who want to discuss surfboards. ;-)
Arguing something well beyond reason is becoming the norm here. Baiting people into stupid arguements seems to be another thing. I see something in common with what was going down when he who we cannot speak of anymore was getting all the heat.
It could be called somewhare else .

Agreed. The mere mention of those vile things gets my hackles up. Boats do not belong where people surf.
This space reserved to mock trolls
THAT .... is a GREAT idea , Keith !

Such wonderful civility Fins. It would be much better with pictures only, eh.
The mezzanine is bored and needs graphic stimulation to get excited.
No member at Sways is forced to read a thread. Maybe they keep bumping because there is little else of interest posted.
I see no more board building threads from you than I or several others post.

I LOVE seeing what people build and hearing / ? seeing ? how they ride ...
yep , living in a house with over 80 boards , I must admit the need to build a board has been lacking ... still making fins though , of course ...
huck , the forum for complainers ...isn't that the errors and buggery forum ?
or maybe it could be called
" for those that like to curb [others] enthusiasm ! " ? :)
or , maybe ...
the "kill the thrill " forum ??

Just so they have their own place?
"there we go ...
the ARGUER'S forum ....
[ yes , stony , after 10 years here reading the arguments , the ol' patience DOES wear a bit thin ... ]
