Another thing: mako you are NOT a professional surfboard manufacturer-period. Neither am i. You to should get off the high horse. Be humble.
please STOP trolling me, following me, and STALKING ME. ok Mako224& fins out for boys! Quit it.
You're right. I'm not a professional. I'm just a hobby-ist making boards for the 4 surfers in my house and a couple friends. Been at it since the late 80s. You won't find me starting threads making myself out to be something I'm not or speaking of an oportunity I decided against to remain pure to my roots or any horseshit like that. You won't find me proclaiming I don't sell enough boards as if I sell a bunch just not enough to go the CNC route. You won't find me proclaiming the virtues of a tool I've only used once either.
Do you ever wonder why almost every thread you start or touch ends up in "Errors and Bugs"?
Ok, then. Please stop. Upfront, i get excited building, but I'm working on slowing down. Even when planing i pace myself. Thanks for not hating. -Jim
Ps: listen to your local shapers and surfers, and i will do the same. And keep learning on your own also. I do, but I'll also take lessons. Good luck in 2015! -Jim
Gdaddy - don't worry about your design. The cnc cutter i talked to says you can just bring a pic and your chosen dims... then he does his work. Dont worry if it aint perfect - bcuz the water isn't always perfect either. Work on good enough. If you want to go beyond that - your wide open. Take it as high as you can get it!
To mods: please put my post back up.
Fins r out - Quit stalking me you flipping hater. Can you Quit the adolescent behavior and blame games, or trying to prove yourself? Yes i had someone else glass three garage builds. What are yours,?? Professional builds? HA. YOU must think your a production guy? What you are is: your a amateur garage guru. That's cool and all, but it didn't ever make you a production guy. So get off the hating. You probably hate yourself, or aren't secure in yourself. How old are you 15? Forget about ego trips - it won't prove anything at all. Learn how to shape a functional board instead. I'm not saying every board i made worked well - they didn't. But they all worked w out spinning out etc... those other boards aren't done. I am sending it out for glassing as i can't glass outdoors, right? Would you glass outdoors w pu resin and cat?
