I'm thinking 7-6, using the US Blanks 7-9 H blank.
Typically, I sketch out templates on my break time or spare time, and when I find one that grabs me, I set it aside to make a spin template from. Right now I have a couple in mind, but this is the main one. Once I have a shape in mind, I start noticing similar shapes, and checking to see what fins / bottom / rails etc. are being used, just for reference.
So I have these sketches, and I'm noticing shapes like the 7-10 Travis Reynolds Midlength that I posted above. Here's another Travis Reynolds board that caught my eye.
Hey Huck/ Mattwho
I finished shaping the mini longboard 6 6 x 22 slight hull entry to double concave to vee at end of tail.
Do you guys think 3.7" nose and 2" tail rocker will be ok? I was thinking that this should be about right but if it was for beginners perhaps i should increase nose rocker a bit.
What do you guys think about the rocker numbers?

LTM,
Digging the shape!
6" shorter than what I'm doin' for MLB or mini long-board.
Thanks for the quick response.
I really don't have much experience at all when it comes to longboard style rockers.
But, I'm glad to hear that my numbers are on the high side, as I predict that this board will more than likely be picked up by a novice, so not a bad thing to prevent a bit of pearling.
........ But, I also had some performance in mind when making this board-note the slight hip and double concaves. So I figured that with those rocker numbers the board could also be ridden by someone that knows how to surf as well.
Out of interest, how did that board in the photo go?

Wow...
Flashback Man!
that shape just grabbed me by the balls!
Harbor / Martinson "Revolver"

And so,
I know from experience
that God has ways of slowing us down.
Did you ever see "Carbine Williams"?
And after solitary confinement for a record amount of days
they asked him, what kept you going?
Guns! "I took them apart and put them back together in my mind".
Hey who knows?
Like to think you'll be tweaking concaves.
Blessings to you and yours...

I'am @ 7-0 x 22.5
2 5/8" nose and 1 7/8" tail.
Thinkin' your commited
Go with it!
But "that's a lot a rocker".
The Oldschool rule
More tail rocker less nose!
Eh, I love breaking rules!!!
Enjoy some real rocker dilema.

rocker numbers sound right to me for a board of that length
I don't have rocker numbers for my 6-7, but here is the rocker shot

Eh,
Hucks board looks to pass.
I do respect his words.
That "thing" was a commission
to make four, John Kelly "Scorpion tails"
Customer paid well, didn't listen and found someone else.
Mine a knee board (shown).
Hard to trim.
I had never hung knee caps before!
Just a lession in my life!
And MIND you nothing but total respect towards John Kelly!
Just another over looked innovator.
Huck???
Concaves, your getting sleepy, concaves...
