I'm looking forward to making one of this soon.
To be honest, I never liked the concept. Or, even thought when slater rides them his surfing wasn't quite on point (altough his surfing in and around the lip is damn good).
Anyway, they are growing on me.
After looking at some of Webbers, and Gunthers boards, they look intreguing.
... What you guys think?
Pls share ideas. ta
Define what you mean by "stinger"
When I hear that, I think someone is talking about an aipa sting and doesn't have the term correct.
Are you talking a sting or a wing?
I think you may be talking about wings? Or am I way off and stinger is an epic new model name of a board? I don't keep up on that.
"We ain't on our way to Wembley,we ain't gonna win the league. No matter how much they let us down - Westham's still our team"...
epic?
...wing at about 14-15" up.
bulbus hip curve tail
wideish pod
low nose entry
smooth curve
sw tail
inverse vee bottom
shortboard
... slater trend maybe, but ..."epic"?... typical sways jargon.
Is it a model called "stinger"?
I'm still a bit confused.
Trying to find a photo of the board.
"We ain't on our way to Wembley,we ain't gonna win the league. No matter how much they let us down - Westham's still our team"...
"Stingers" brings the classic Ben Apia Sting to my mind. Don´t people use both terms for it ?
Or am I on the wrong track ?
This will be fun to follow. I´m excited what you will create Yorky.
Yeah people use the term "stinger" all the time to refer to a sting. That doesn't mean it's correct.
I don't think this is what yorky is talking about anyways.
