Thanks guys! Just did my best to walk in the footsteps that have already been taken by the masters(falling pretty short I may add haha)
ps- why else would you build it if it wasn’t to cover in wax? That’s the best part! Haha
As always - anyone my way is more than welcome to take it for a spin.
"We ain't on our way to Wembley,we ain't gonna win the league. No matter how much they let us down - Westham's still our team"...
Magnificent! I can only imagine the prep that went in to the buffing sequence... What are the dimensions on that one?
11’6 x 21-3/4 (I believe I ended up at) x 3-3/4 thick.
All old growth redwood from a California water tower and resin panels.
To be honest I knew I was gonna surf the heck out of it so spending hours sanding and polishing didn’t make much sense when I’m just gonna throw it in the back of my truck. It’s a good sand and polish but not the end all be all.
I’ll back track the thread later and review this build; but I was wondering if this one is the one with PB Pier lumber in it?
Wow, that board is incredible! How is this board colored? The black. Foam stain, then clear lam?
Those are resin panels...
That’s cool I guess, if you’re into cool things
Currently obsessed with twins... really enjoying this build.
I have a real weakness for tints and cutlaps. I'm a little nervous about your leashplug, tho.
