DECKThe deck is the top of the surfboard (where the feet and the wax go!) Decks can be flat, or domed. A surfboard with a domed deck is thickest in the center (along the stringer) and thinner along the rails, so that the top surface of the surfboard is curved if viewed from the front or rear of the board.
