A Fred is a tool made from 2 surform blades put back to back and mounted at a 30 degree angle to vertical. Shown in the Shaping 101 video. Commercially available now too, sold thru Foam E-Z.http://www.swaylocks.com/images/glossary/uploads/FRED.jpg
