Sanding Block

SANDING BLOCK: a block of wood or ( some factory made items) rubber, used for backing sandpaper or sanding screen. While it's useful for flat areas, a less than careful user can do some definite damage to curved surfaces, especially convex curves. (Unless, of course, a convex sanding block is used...)
