fin-system (n.) a collection of components that provide an attachment method to secure fins to a surfboard.
Fin-systems provide options to the end user. It's up to the consumer to determine their priorities which dictate what attachment method is right for them. If that list of priorities includes versatility, a fin-system will provide options. Some fin-systems are oriented towards convenience, some are oriented towards adjustability, a few focus on load transfer. But, the primary benifit of any fin-system is to provide the surfer with options.
