Thruster Hypothesis

That the unique changes in the flow which occur as a result of the interaction between the bottom of a surfboard and that of the flow on the face of a wave will tend to increase the angle-of-attack of the flow on the lateral fins of a multi fin-configuration resulting in a thrust (here a propulsion in the direction of motion of the surfboard). The level of thrust being in part a function of the fin-configuration parameters of spacing and position of the fins, and respective toe-in and cant of the fins.
