If you have tried to register, or if you have tried to have your password sent to you and never received the "validation" email, it is the result of one of three problems.
1. Bad email address. If you are unsure if your email is working -- test it! Send yourself an email and see if you get it. If you do, then do one more thing... try to "reply" to the email that you just sent. If everything works, then great. However, if you don't get the email that you just sent yourself, or you don't get the reply that you just replied o yourself, then your email address is busted and you'll need to call your ISP or work out a way to get a new one.
2. Wrong email address. To test if you submitted the wrong email address, try re-registering. If you see the following message:
Email address [URL="mailto:'firstname.lastname@example.org'"]'email@example.com'[/URL] is already in use by another account
then you submitted correctly and your validation email is being blocked. See number 3.
3. Your service provider is blocking Swaylocks.
Your email service may think that emails from swaylocks.com are spam and either junking or deleting them (this is a good thing to fix for all future correspondance). Try this:
All others with a spam blocking system (Yahoo, Earthlink, AOL etc) Add the following two address to your "Safe List" or "White List" firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com
Check your Junk Mail, Spam or Bulk Mail Folder.
If you continue to have problems: please mail firstname.lastname@example.org with validation blocked in the subject. Be sure to include your username so I can locate you account. After I get your email, I'll be able to correct the problem and you'll have full access to Swaylock's.com.
