Jeff, I'm looking for a piece of foam just about the size that you bought. 12'X 24", X 8" thick. I would love to find some where that I can buy it, or someone I can buy it from. Can you get a piece like that for me, and if so how much, and where do I have to go to pick up? Thinks for any help you can provid.
thanks for the info.the only problem is that im on the east coast, and honestly i'm looking to get it from the source, i need to save as much $ as i can. i guess the question would be , does anyone have any info on a manufactuer of large blocks of EPS.i was in beattys shop in SB a few years back and saw one of lockwoods 16' paddleboards on the rack that was still unglassed so i know sombody makes long blocks of the stuff. any info would be great thanks
Ted, I'm in Santa Cruz. I do make the trip down to that area every now and then. At least once per year, sometimes more often. If I have a work trip that I can drive to, and don't have to fly, I could pick it up. I just don't know when that would be. I'm sure shipping cost with be way high for something that size?
Patrick, I'm sure that you know extruded is called XPS and expanded is called EPS. On the EPS, I'll give you some leads. On the XPS, it so hard for me to get, that I don't give up my source, sorry. http://www.hdxsurfboards.com
