yes, thats right , I bought the plans for $50. I told Paul this would be my first board shaping and glassing. He said no problem, as I was worried that this would be a difficult first timers board. I couldnt quite figure out some of the curves, so Paul sold me additional plans for another $50 these really came in handy. I glassed the thing, but I couldnt make it water tite, and water came through the weave in many places where the glass wasnt sticking to the foam curve. All in all, it doesnt surf bad...most like a skim board on a wave, I dont think its finned up enough as it slides out and its hard to stay on top or over it. I talked to Paul and he said I did something wrong, but I cant tell what?? In all, I have to say that this probably isnt' a good first board to make, there's lots of mistakes. I'm going to chuck it and get a used Stewart Hydrohull board to learn surfing on.
