I could have done with that board a few weeks ago when I visited. Pity you din't have it then. My 6'1 was a bit loose in the bigger stuff. I'd forgotten the power and speeed of West Australian waves. But I was reminded pretty quick.
And now .....some shots of the repaired Banksy.....
taken with the $60aus digital camera "shark attack survivor Brad" bought at a swapmeet a few weeks back ...THANKS , Brad !!!
[I'll just have to wait a few months for deeper banks and more swell...don't want to risk resnapping the nose in 1' deep water . I hit bottom so hard last monday with my head and my elbow I thought I had broken something , for sure]
I liked this boards' outline ,when I first saw it in John's back garden . And after SO many years of not having ridden a ['glassed on fins'] thruster , THIS will be the board to get me back into it !
....who knows , maybe I'll get rid of all my relics , and " ride a normal board " for a few years ? Shouldn't do any harm to my surfing ...... hopefully.....
Good job, Ben. Doesn't look like it's ever been snapped.
Looking great chipsterben. came up good for your hopefully early winter swells.
whoa, I am in shock , pops ! You have a thruster you're actually going to ride ?? and a computer AND a digital camera, too ??? Oh man , it looks like you CAN teach an old dog new tricks , after all. I'm speechless.
