Rusty P. came to visit a local shop and agreed to replicate a magic C5(with FCS) that I brought in, I was stoaked that he would take the time, he even designed it on his computer right with me. I called the factory to make sure FCS was what I would get so that it would be exactly what I wanted(I have had mix ups there before). It finally showed up 2 months late with a future C5 set up(which I was told ,in the past, by Hammon another R. shaper that all the bugs were not out yet on that system)and completely blank with no dimensions or signature, which usually all Rustys come with. So now after much anticipation I have a board with the wrong fin system and not sure who actually shaped it. The board is sick looking though. I was given the option of taking the board and they would send me some fiberglass fins to make up for the mistake or they will shape another(Rusty P. hand shape I doubt it) on a rush order with FCS(I am leaning twards this option). Has any one switched from FCS C5 to Future C5 with improved results. I dont like the Future systems descision proces choosing where to adjust the fin, just want to surf what I liked origionally. What would you do?
