That, from the ancients
to my day, there was no such thing as the “web”.
As always, to be a successful “local” shaper, you needed to travel and patrol
to have an edge.
Always observant and somewhat of a thief.
An applicable recollection, is the first down rail I handled.
Took the board over to Liddle, he made a few and we worked on it.
And made a coupl’a more.
Finished product performed quiet well.
And I was fortunate enough to catch an epic swell at a secret spot, only know as “Bali Hai”.
Frankly I find it quite funny that the same story could be told by a real “old-timer” about his Hot Curl
I put forth a collection of “Vintage” Twin fin photos from 1948 to 1977.
